My mother taught me to sew and hand embroider when I was in grade school. My love of sewing really took off when I made all my clothing in high school. I even made some garments for my girlfriends!
I taught myself to quilt in 2008. I started longarm quilting in 2014 after wrestling many quilts under a domestic sewing machine.
In 2019, I was a recipient of a National Association of Certified Quilt Judges (NACQJ) Award of Merit for Outstanding Achievement in Quiltmaking at the Des Moines Area Quilters Guild Show. I've also been awarded numerous ribbons in quilting and sewing categories at the Iowa State Fair.
My business in rural Perry, Iowa focuses on edge to edge longarm quilting, but I also accept custom stitching commissioned work. I'm currently focusing on creating digital longarm quilting designs for computerized longarm machines.
I love quilting and sewing. Let's create together!
